Submit a Book Inquiry
TCP publishes movement-building manuscripts by feminist, queer, and BIPOC writers at no cost to authors.
We receive hundreds of inquiries and we cannot respond to general book ideas or help you brainstorm your book proposal.
Please only submit an inquiry if you have fully responded to all the items on the checklist below.
Three elements combine to make a book an ideal fit for Tehom Center Publishing:
01 — QUALITY
Is your manuscript ready?
Of course, a book must be good quality. At submission, we expect a polished, proof read, and copy edited manuscript.
02 — MISSION ALIGNMENT
Does your book fit TCP's mission?
Equally important is alignment with TCP's feminist, queer, antiracist mission of uplifting marginalized writers.
03 — AUTHOR PLATFORM
Do you have an audience?
Publishing is a significant financial investment. We need to know that an author has a sizable platform that can substantiate a strategic book marketing plan.
If your platform is under 10,000 people or you do not have book marketing experience, you may want to consider one of our book marketing coaching programs to help ensure solid book sales or focus on growing your platform prior to submission.
