Book Coaching for Writers who Change The World

Tehom Center Publishing’s coaching programs nurture the whole life of queer, BIPOC, women, disabled, and nonbinary writers.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Coaching is how we make publishing possible.

Books and coaching are equally weighted in our work, because the heart of our work is movement building — and books and coaching make that movement possible.

Every program is curated to the specific needs of the author, offered through a feminist and queer lens. We honor the whole life of marginalized writers by offering equitable coaching programs that equip writers to live abundant and financially sustainable lives.

What Our Authors Say

  • "Angela's enthusiasm for writing and changing-our-world-through-our-writing is infectious! This was just the motivation that I needed to let the pen in my hand write my story in the hopes that it can serve the greater good."

    — Rev. Julia McKay, Fall Cohort 2023 & Tehom Center Publishing Author

  • I cannot say enough good things about how being a part of the Ministry from the Margins Book cohort encouraged and catalyzed my writing process!"

    -Dana Cassell

  • "Dr. Ang, your instruction and encouragement are priceless. I have found this program to help me finally make the progress I only dreamt of, and it’s given me new insights into how the process works in ways that inspire me to keep going."

    -Cypress Brannon

  • "If you've been on the cusp of writing, or finishing, your book, Angela is your person! She jump started my writing process and showed me how to go from idea to paper to publishing. Don't stare at the blank piece of paper anymore. It's time to get your book out to the world!"

    — Dr. Katy Valentine, Fall Cohort 2023 & Tehom Center Publishing Author

  • "The Subversive Scribes Cohort was exactly what my writer's soul needed--in expected and unexpected ways. I am at the beginning of my project and this was the perfect time for me to participate because it gave me concrete steps and an incredibly supportive community to tease out what is emerging. I have never felt so supported while giving birth to something new! Highly, highly recommended!"

    — Danae Ashley, Tehom Center Publishing Author

  • "It was life-giving to be a part of the Tehom Center Publishing's coaching program. Not only did Angela provide support, expertise, and guidance, but the connection to other subversive, dynamic, intelligent, and compassionate individuals was exactly what my spirit needed to continue writing."
